My name is Donovan Ridley. I am a father, brother, son, husband, lover of gym shoes, and lastly the reason you’re here.. a photographer. What started as a hobby has turned into a full blown passion. Ever since childhood I’ve loved taking pictures. I would go to my local Walgreens, purchase disposable cameras, take and print my pictures. One year for Christmas my mother bought me my first digital camera and picture printer. After a while I became the friend responsible for bringing the camera and capturing moments and memories. As technology advanced the camera got put down and the majority of my pictures came from a cell phone camera and while those pictures are great in their own right there’s nothing that compares to the quality of a photo straight from a camera. During the pandemic of 2020 I picked up the camera again. I found it difficult to find the time to hone my skills while working full time as well. But when you’re passionate and serious about something you have to make the time. I am not the best photographer in the world, not even the best in my city. But when you book a session with me I hope you see you’ve booked the best man for the job. And when you review the pictures I’ve delivered it is my hope that you see what I see..the passion.
